Character Balance Sheet

I got this from Used Books, who got it from this forum.

It’s a good way to see if your characters themselves are balanced, so you can weed out any characters who are too strong and strengthen any characters who might be too weak. This tool can also help you make the story stronger by having a balance of different types of characters. Have fun! :)

  1. Oooooo I am going to borrow this! I planned to do some initial character spotlights for my stories and this would be a good spreadsheet to have for each. Thanks!

  2. Handy!

  3. I don’t see the sheet . . . it’s just blank.

    • Hmm… I fixed it. If it still doesn’t show up, just go here.

  4. This is cool…I used to have a character sheet that was an interview for your character. It’s very useful when you get stuck!

  5. I’ve never bothered doing this, but this form looks helpful. Thanks for posting this.

    • Why thank you!

  7. I am so guilty of giving characters too many or too little positive traits…This is very helpful! Thank you!

  8. Haa. I like that. No need to make Mary Sue’s all over the place with this.
