November Blogs

NaNoWriMo

I’m being a total nerd and getting super excited for November, so I think I shall devote my blog entirely to NaNoWriMo. I’ll give some tips on how to boost your word count and how to keep your morale up – it can get overwhelming trying to write a 50,000-word novel with everything else that’s going on, especially during (for those of us in the USA) the Thanksgiving holiday. (And for those of us in college – midterms and finals!) I might post some links with helpful information – or cool websites you can use for the purpose of procrastination… either way, it’ll be fun. I’m brainstorming some ideas for blogs right now…

so leave comments with any ideas you might have! Thanks so much! 🙂

  1. I made it to 47,000 last November due to some family health issues that took priority.

Twas lots of fun . . . and a great diversion from the scary/sad stuff going on at the time.

Haven’t decided about this November yet. But I look forward to reading your posts.

  2. I found writing a few years ago to help me cope through the long separations from my military husband. I’ve participated in NaNoWriMo for the last six years, and last year was my first win!

My writing partner and I finally came up with our plot and cover art tonight. Ahh progress!

    Best of luck to all!

    1. Cover art… something I have problems with, since I’m not artistically inclined at all… good luck to you this year and thank you for commenting! 🙂
