Keep a Journal, Do a Good Deed

Photobucket

On 1001 Journals, you can choose whether you want to add to an existing journal or start a new one. There are three types: traveling, location, and personal journals.

Traveling journals are sent all over the world for a list of people who sign up to document their lives.

Location journals are posted in one location and are open to anyone who visits that location.

Personal journals are your own journals that you can scan into the site. Share your words!

The purpose of 1001 Journals is to connect with others and share your thoughts. Some of the journals on the website have been sent to hospitals, schools, prisons, and nursing homes to be used for therapeutic purposes. Sometimes getting your words down on paper can be a good way to heal or feel better! Think about doing a good deed and “stationing” a journal at your local hospital or school! 🙂

  1. Awesome blog! Do you have any hints for aspiring writers? I’m planning to start my own website soon but I’m a little lost on everything. Would you recommend starting with a free platform like WordPress or go for a paid option? There are so many choices out there that I’m totally confused .. Any tips? Many thanks!
