Yes, computers give answers. Usually, the first place I go when I have a question is Google. That’s probably a bad habit because Google is most definitely not omniscient.
Picasso might have meant that computers give answers… but there is no way of knowing whether those answers are correct, unless you ask an actual human being with feelings, emotions, and intuition. So if you blindly believe everything a computer says is true, then yes, a computer is useless.
I think it’s sad how the whole world is so dependent on computers these days. If there happened to be an electromagnetic pulse and computers and other electronic things failed, we’d all go out of our minds in a blind panic. That’s why I’m secretly (well, it’s not a secret anymore) glad when my computer or my Internet dies (unless it happens at work). I get a day away from the screen.
