1. Today is my fifth blogiversary. I can’t believe I’ve kept up with this blog for 5 years because most of the time, I drop social media and website accounts pretty quickly. This is a good opportunity to thank all of my followers and commenters, so thank you!
2. CCD (non-Catholics call it Sunday school) ended a couple of weeks ago, so I have a bit more time because I’m not planning lessons. So I changed my writing schedule a little bit. I have been doing more writing and less revision because I realized that the only thing that works for me is to rewrite and rewrite and rewrite until I have something that I consider decent. I have to actually write — I can’t sit there and plan and make character bios and maps and all that stuff… if that makes any sense at all.
3. Tuesday must have been a fairly slow news day because this was the top article on CNN for a while. It’s not at all surprising that millennials (those born between approximately 1980 to 2000) are leaving Christian churches, but it is a bit sad in a way. Maybe it’s because a lot of people in this age group are still trying to figure out where they belong and what they want, and they may have decided that they don’t want to worship at the church of their parents and grandparents.
Anyway… hope everyone is having a good week!
